Modular Chassis Design

Enhanced modularity is achieved through a serialized chassis that holds all functional components together, allowing users to configure the pistol with different grip modules, barrel lengths, and magazine capacities.

Safety First

Safety was engineered into the CZ DUTY from the beginning. The pistol features a three-stage drop safety system and is also available with an ambidextrous manual safety, giving shooters multiple layers of confidence in handling and operation.

REFINED STRIKER-FIRED TRIGGER

CZ DUTY features a patented striker-fired trigger system. True to CZ DNA, the CZ DUTY offers very smooth travel, a crisp and clean break, and a short, easy-to-feel reset. The result is a trigger designed to support confident operation and repeatable performance shot after shot while maintaining control.

The overall design of CZ DUTY is aimed at achieving ideal balance in the shooter’s hand. The center of gravity is optimally placed to provide an excellent shooting experience. With each shot, the gun naturally settles back on target. This supports faster follow-up shots while maintaining accuracy and control.

Pronounced Grip Cutout

The CZ DUTY grip cutout, combined with a serrated magazine base plate, gives the shooter extra control when reloading. Especially in harsh conditions involving mud, sand, or freezing temperatures, the cutout helps the shooter maintain a firm grip on the magazine when the environment gets in the way of a smooth reload.

Advanced Ergonomics

The CZ DUTY's ergonomics were developed using advanced human-factors modeling through CZ's DiFEND methodology, rooted in NASA-supported human-factors research, building on an approach already applied to the CZ P-10 series.

The resulting grip geometry is designed to accommodate a wide range of hand sizes while providing a secure, natural interface between shooter and pistol.

Improved Texture

The frame of CZ DUTY features improved texturing that provides a firm grip in all conditions without being overly aggressive. The serrated finger rest above the trigger supports safe handling and improves shooting comfort.

Enhanced Slide Serrations

Extended front and rear cocking serrations on the slide allow for confident operation under a wide range of conditions. No matter how the shooter is trained to manipulate the slide, CZ DUTY's enhanced serrations ensure natural, comfortable, and confident operation, even in wet or dirty environments.

Fully Ambidextrous

CZ DUTY features fully ambidextrous controls. The slide release, magazine release, and manual safety are comfortable for both right- and left-handed shooters right out of the box.

Built around durability

We guarantee a 50,000-round service life or 25,000 rounds of overpressure ammunition (DM51 loaded to 30% higher pressure), including a 10,000-round no-parts-change period. A durability standard we stand behind.

Tested for the real world

The CZ DUTY underwent extensive testing based on NATO STANAG AC/225 methodology, including drop, water, and debris exposure testing designed to validate reliable operation under demanding conditions. Precision is verified throughout manufacturing, with more than 200 dimensions and tolerances measured on the slide alone. Each pistol is factory-tested for function and accuracy and zeroed at 25 yards.

Red dots are welcome on CZ DUTY. The redesigned Optics-Ready system allows shooters to mount optics with a wide variety of industry-standard footprints without the use of adapter plates:

The red dot sight mounts directly to the slide using the included pin set.

Universal Sights

CZ DUTY features new sights with a luminescent or tritium three-dot system for quick target acquisition. The sights are optimized for use with red dots and provide a lower-third co-witness.

CZ DUTY Magazines

CZ DUTY magazines provide top-notch durability and long-term reliability. A redesigned base plate provides additional purchase for more positive control during reloads. CZ DUTY magazines come in 15- and 17-round capacities, with the option to use an extended base plate (+2) or a sleeve when using a longer magazine in a shorter grip.
