Durability and reliability

The CZ SCORPION EVO 3 A1 meets the demanding requirements of NATO AC/225 standards. The firearm retains full functionality in extremely high and low temperatures, resists the effects of salt water and fog, and is not affected by sand, mud, or dust. As a matter of course, it is drop-safe.

Cold hammer forged barrel

High accuracy is largely due to its cold hammer forged barrel, produced in-house by CZ, which also ensures a long service life that is in accordance with the high standards required by the armed forces.

Modern materials

The receiver, trigger guard housing with grips, forend, shoulder stock, and magazines are made of highly durable fiberglass reinforced polymer.

Anti-corrosion finish

All metal components come with a special in-house finish that provides extreme resistance to mechanical damage, weathering, and sweat.

Trigger and firing mechanism

The CZ SCORPION EVO 3 A1 is equipped with an easily accessible polymer trigger and firing mechanism. The firearm shoots from the front bolt position, which contributes to extreme accuracy and high user comfort.

Mounting interface

The upper receiver and forend are fitted with MIL-STD-1913 mounting rails for quick and reliable attachment of optical sights and other accessories.

Shoulder stock

The foldable, ergonomic shoulder stock with rubber buttpad can be quickly adjusted to three different lengths or easily removed, e.g. for transport.

Threaded muzzle

The muzzle comes with UNEF 1/2×28 or M18×1 threading, and is fitted with a cylindrical flash hider as standard.

Controls

A laterally adjustable, non-reciprocating charging handle, ambidextrous safety/fire mode lever, ambidextrous magazine release, and bolt catch/release lever ensure reliable and comfortable operation.

Three firing modes

For the most effective use of the firearm to suit the needs of each mission, the user has a choice of three firing modes: single shot, three-shot burst, or full auto.

Adjustable sights

The CZ SCORPION EVO 3 A1 comes equipped with a horizontally adjustable diopter rear sight and height adjustable front sight.

Adjustable pistol grip

Users can adjust grip and trigger reach by horizontally sliding the pistol grip forwards or backwards.

Magazines

Double-stack magazines with “push n‘ click” loading are available for the CZ SCORPION EVO 3 A1 in 30, 20, or 10 round capacities. All magazines are made of highly durable fiberglass-reinforced polymer and come with witness holes. The follower is white for quick visual inspection of magazine round status.
