CZ 457 rifles are known for their superb accuracy. Target shooting competitors have relied on the MATCH chamber models CZ 457 MDT, MTR, At-One, LRP, Carbon, and Range and have no doubt won countless medals with them.

After all, the guaranteed 15 mm groups at a distance of 50 meters are very decent accuracy. The all-new CZ 457 Target raises the bar even higher and offers a new choice for ISSF shooters.

Fully adjustable in every way

It has to fit like a glove. This rule applies to all firearms, but for a competition firearm, this is an absolute must!

The CZ 457 Target features a fully adjustable, ISSF competition-ready aluminum chassis co-developed with Olympic winner Matt Emmons, ensuring outstanding ergonomics for shooters of all sizes, ages, and skill levels. The following elements can be adjusted in pretty much any way possible.

The pistol grip

You can make your CZ 457 Target grip fit pretty much any palm out there. The three-axis-adjustable pistol grip available in three different sizes ensures maximum comfort and a firm grasp.

The cheekpiece

The CZ 457 Target stock offers a three-axis-adjustable, two-sided cheekpiece with a different shape on each side for optimal cheek weld.

The buttstock

It is paired with an even more flexible side-tiltable buttstock with a five-axis-adjustable buttpad. All of this is topped with a three-segment shoulder hook adjustable for shape and tilt.

The forehand riser

The CZ 457 Target forehand riser can be adjusted in three different axes to comfortably position the rifle in your supporting hand.

Longer MATCH barrel

A brand-new 26-inch MATCH barrel with 12 grooves and a target crown ensures that the CZ 457 TARGET places each shot exactly where you aim it. The cold hammer-forged barrel comes equipped with a diffuser, which allows you to mount your favorite front sight and additional weights via an 11 mm dovetail. All that elevates the accuracy to a guaranteed dispersion of 12 mm at 50 m with a 10-shot group.

Just like the ergonomics, the two-stage trigger also allows for full range of adjustments. You can fine-tune the following:

•    1st-stage travel distance
•    2nd-stage travel distance (sear engagement)
•    2nd-stage trigger pull weight
•    Overtravel
•    Trigger blade angle and distance

Your favorite Anschütz trigger blade will also fit. This is our lightest CZ 457 trigger mechanism so far, set from the factory to approximately 110 grams of pull weight.

The firing pin has also been reworked to further improve the smooth and crisp function of the whole unit. And as if that were not enough good news, this trigger kit is backward-compatible with existing CZ 457 rifles.

Proven and reliable system

The CZ 457 action does not need to be introduced. Its popularity speaks for itself. But since perfection knows no boundaries, we have improved it as well. The CZ 457 TARGET offers an adjustable single-shot loading system. It is paired with a straight extended bolt handle with an enlarged and checkered aluminum CZ 600 RANGE-style bolt knob. Each reload is therefore smooth and natural.

Supported accessories

For those who are extra demanding in terms of adjustability, the CZ 457 TARGET also allows for the installation of different pistol grip sizes (XS, S, M), extended spacer bars, extended tilt bars for the buttstock, and, of course, diopter sights as well as SCATT training device.

ISSF 3-Position Rifle Shooting

ISSF 3POS is a 50-meter 22 LR rimfire rifle discipline fired from three positions: kneeling, prone, and standing. A standard Olympic match consists of 60 shots within a strict time limit, demanding extreme precision, consistency, and physical endurance. With a 10-ring measuring just 10.4 mm at 50 meters, the discipline places the highest on both shooter and equipment.

To perform at this level, the rifle must deliver exceptional accuracy, absolute reliability, and full adjustability to maintain optimal posture and sight picture across all three positions. Purpose-built for ISSF 3-position competition, the CZ 457 TARGET delivers the accuracy, adjustability, and reliability required at the highest level.
